Financials: Having access to key financials and reports is critical to your success. With NetSuite's financial management services, you get comprehensive tools that allow you to control all your financial data and processes. And since the financial management services in NetSuite financials are integrated with your sales, support, shipping and receiving functions, you get real-time financial data directly from those departments, enabling faster, smarter business decisions.
General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Gain full financial visibility into your payables and receivables with real-time access to outstanding invoices and bills. And once customers receive your goods or services, you can quickly generate invoices from sales orders with just one click, reducing paperwork and improving efficiency.
Advanced Billing: NetSuite's Advanced Billing feature makes contract billing faster, more convenient, and easier to manage. Many businesses invoice customers for a sale over a range of time, or a contract term. For example, a customer might commit to a one year membership billed monthly, or a three year service contract with quarterly invoices. Keeping track of billing schedules and managing the invoicing process (knowing when it is time to invoice, how much to invoice...) can be a major challenge for such companies, and having the financial management services to do so effectively is critical to successfully managing your revenue stream.
Budget Management Services: Use NetSuite's budgeting capabilities to capture your business objectives for the coming financial year. You can also generate up-to-the-moment comparative reports with our financial management software to evaluate your spending. New functionality includes multiple budgets and import/export to Microsoft Excel®.
Recurring Revenue Management: NetSuite's built-in recurring revenue management capability is the only solution that's integrated with all of your front- and back-office processes. This means you'll get a complete, real-time view of your customers and all of their interactions with your company. So you'll drive profitability by increasing billing efficiency and bolstering revenue recognition processes. You'll also improve customer satisfaction—increasing the number of customers who renew, upgrade and buy more services.
Revenue Recognition: NetSuite is the first hosted application to bring revenue recognition management to mid-size companies. NetSuite's financial management services make it easier for companies to flexibly recognize revenue according to customer contracts and to maintain accounting control within GAAP and other reporting standards.
Amortization Schedules: Amortization Schedules allow you to set up a schedule to amortize expenses over time. They are very similar to Revenue Recognition Schedules, but rather than Invoices and Credit Memos, amortization schedules are linked to Bills, Bill Credits and Journal Entries. With Amortization Schedules, you can streamline many redundant steps in your accounting processes, such as amortizing prepaid expenses. Amortization Schedules may also be linked to Jobs, so you can amortize your expenses in proportion to the Job's percentage of completion.
NetSuite Advanced Project Accounting: NetSuite Advanced Project Accounting lets you manage your professional services organization more effectively with integrated project/job tracking and reporting. With NetSuite, you can automate project/job creation when specific services are sold, and automatically track percent complete and time budgeted and spent on project tasks. Reports for utilization and backlog help you analyze your employees' workload and efficiency. Estimated job profitability reporting compares your projected loaded labor cost on projects against expected billings.
Online Bill Pay Services: NetSuite's banking features allow for an unlimited number of bank accounts. You can write and print checks, or use online bill pay to transfer funds electronically. You can also import bank statement data and reconcile it with accounting transaction data.
Allocations: Allocations can be set up as dollar amounts or on a percentage basis, and post the appropriate journal entry for you. With NetSuite's financial management services you can also schedule an allocation to recur, like a memorized transaction, and get a reminder when it is time to post an allocation journal.

Sales Force Automation: NetSuite's sales force automation (SFA) capabilities allow you to manage the entire selling process, including sales order entry, post-sale follow-up and support, as well as upselling opportunities. Unlike our competitors, NetSuite provides complete customer purchase histories, which enable your sales representatives to serve your customers better, improve customer satisfaction and increased profitability.
Pipeline and Opportunity Management: Using the SFA Real-time Dashboard, you'll see all leads, which are assigned by rules and territories, on your Dashboard. You can even track multiple leads within the same company separately, getting insight into each contact, conversation and unique opportunity. Moreover, you can display all opportunities, quotes, orders and closed sales on your Dashboard. You can even view the projected amount, probability of the close of sale, and weighted amount for each of these transactions.
Order Management: Sales representatives can turn sales quotes into orders with just one click. Consequently, they can spend more time selling products and services, and less time shuffling papers. That's because NetSuite's sales force automation CRM software solution eliminates redundant data entry and minimizes data entry errors.
Standard & Advanced Forecasting: NetSuite and NetSuite CRM provide sales teams with the SFA tools companies' large and small need to manage their forecasts. For companies with basic forecasting needs, probability based forecasting offers weighted measurement of pending opportunities, quotes and orders. And for companies needing more sophisticated sales forecasting tools, Advanced Forecasting adds the means to triangulate and better predict sales forecasts using forecast categories and deal ranges.
Incentive Management: Integrated commission management provides the flexibility to schedule multi-tiered commission structures based on billings or payments, parent roll up on class, department, and location, target commission factors, and period assignment. Sales representatives and management can view estimated and actual commissions compared against team or individual quotas from their dashboards. And with NetSuite's payroll integration, commissions are automatically reflected in payroll reports.
Team Selling: Many sales organizations work in sales teams where each individual performs a specific role (sales rep, sales engineer, etc.) to manage and close deals. To support this process, NetSuite Team Selling enables you to track multiple sales users on customer records and sales transactions. In addition you can also calculate and pay commission to multiple sales users on a deal and the new sales team reports allow you to track the revenue earned by all members of the sales team, not just the sales reps.??For each sales user you can specify their role on the deal, such as sales rep or sales engineer and select one as the primary sales rep on the deal. You can also split the deal amongst some of the sales users using the contribution percentage. For example, if two sales reps are splitting the deal you can list both sales reps on the deal and list their contribution percentage as 50%. The sales contribution amount specified will then be used to calculate the commission amount that should be paid for each sales user. A sale user with a contribution of 50% will earn commission on 50% of the value of the deal.
Account Management: Armed with complete views of the customer—including a history of sales, support, billing and shipping—you can forge better, more long-lasting relationships.
